OmniSci

Necessity is the mother of invention. Is exactly how OmniSci (MapD) was created by Todd Mostak (CEO) while at Harvard. The necessity was pulling queries on large data sets — which OmniSci could now do in seconds. Prior to being renamed / rebranded to OmniSci, it called MapD. I was lead designer & art director on the rebrand of Omnisci. Working closely with the CMO & CEO, we worked through a variety of names and logo iterations in a short amount of time in order to utilize the rebrand in our Series C funding round that ended up funding OmniSci $55 Million, helped the startup continue to grow to this day.
